Located just outside Maffra in the heart of Gippsland, The Vines on Avon is a beloved wedding, restaurant and events venue surrounded by tranquil vineyard views and manicured gardens. From weddings and corporate functions to life celebrations and private gatherings, our estate offers an elegant yet relaxed setting designed to make every occasion memorable.

Our Story

The Vines on Avon (Formally Avon Ridge Winery) began as a family-owned vineyard and restaurant, originally established in the early 2000s. With its stunning location and warm hospitality, it quickly became a local favourite for dining, wine tasting, and community events.

In 2017, the business evolved—splitting into two separate operations. While the restaurant and cellar door are now independently owned, The Vines on Avon continues to operate as a restaurant and private event venue with full access to the picturesque grounds, function spaces, and vineyard surrounds.
